What is Civitai?
Civitai combines a model-sharing platform with on-site image generation and LoRA training. Browse resources and community examples, inspect the prompt information included with many images, and use resources available in the generator to create your own images. For a custom LoRA, upload training images and use the site's captioning and training workflow.
Generation and training spend Buzz, Civitai's credit currency. Free users can collect Blue Buzz through recurring daily access and community activity; paid memberships add monthly Green Buzz and creation perks. The number of images a balance buys varies with generation settings and resources.
What can Civitai do?
Browser image generation
Create images with available models and selected generation parameters. Buzz costs vary with the model, additional resources, resolution and other settings.
On-site LoRA training
Select Train a LoRA from the Create menu, upload images and use automatic captions or tags to prepare the training data.
Prompt examples
Inspect the prompt and metadata included with many community images to understand how an example was made and inform your own prompt experiments.

Can I generate without buying Buzz?
Free users can collect Blue Buzz through daily rewards and community activity. Jobs still spend Buzz, and costs vary; this is not unlimited free generation.
What do paid memberships cost?
Bronze is $10 per month with 10,000 Green Buzz; Silver is $25 with 25,000; Gold is $50 with 50,000. They also include generation-priority and queue perks. Membership credit allocations do not translate into a fixed number of images.
Does membership give me commercial rights to all models and images?
No. Models can carry their own licences, and the terms require rights and permissions for uploaded content. Membership or a Buzz purchase is not a blanket commercial-use licence. Check the specific model terms before using its resources or outputs.
Are there age or likeness restrictions?
Civitai's current terms require users to be at least 18 and prohibit content based on the likeness of real people, including public figures and private individuals. Uploading images also requires the necessary rights and permissions.
