Playbook is a visual asset management platform for creatives and teams that need a single place to store, organize, preview, and share files. It is designed for images, video, documents, and related creative work, with tools that help teams move assets from raw files to shareable libraries or final delivery.
The product combines storage, sharing, and workflow automation with AI-assisted organization. Playbook Intelligence can analyze visual content, auto-tag uploads, suggest board structures, and support conversational search, while the broader workspace adds review tools, custom fields, desktop and mobile access, and sharing controls for day-to-day creative operations.

Plans apply per workspace, not per account. If you own multiple workspaces, you can manage billing for each one independently.
The Free plan includes up to 300 assets or 100GB of storage, whichever comes first. If you exceed that limit, you need to upgrade to a paid plan to keep adding files.
Playbook supports broad creative file types, including common image, video, audio, and document formats. The pricing page specifically mentions JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG, TIFF, MP4, MOV, AVI, MP3, WAV, PDF, PSD, and AI.
Playbook says it uses encryption at rest, two-factor authentication, secure backups, and malware scanning. Files remain private unless they are explicitly shared.
