An AI social media manager for LinkedIn personal profiles. It researches and drafts posts using your website and connected data sources, then lets you review, revise, approve, and schedule them.

What is GoodSocials?

GoodSocials is an AI social media manager focused on LinkedIn personal profiles. It creates posts from a user’s website, selected research themes, and—when connected—read-only data from sources such as Stripe, GitHub, PostHog, Plausible, and Notion. Posts are reviewed on a board before they are scheduled for publication.

The workflow is designed for founders, consultants, operators, and agencies that want a regular LinkedIn presence without writing every post themselves. At setup, GoodSocials creates four themes and three brand principles from the user’s website. The user can then approve, revise, or reject drafts, with revision comments becoming ongoing writing rules.

What can GoodSocials do?

Board-based post workflow

Cards move through Idea, Draft, Image, Scheduled, and Posted columns, giving users a clear view of each post’s status.

Research and first-party data posts

The service can create market research, deep-dive, and “your numbers” posts. Read-only sources can provide data or excerpts for posts, while missing figures are left as gaps rather than invented.

Learning from revisions

A revision comment rewrites the current card and updates the relevant voice, visual, or format principle for later posts.

Review and quality checks

Users can approve, revise, or reject cards. Before scheduling, a quality check looks for unsupported numbers, claims without evidence, and posts that lack substance.

Scheduling and publishing

Approved posts can be placed on the calendar and published at 09:00 in the profile’s configured time zone. The publisher checks for failures and retries refused posts up to five times.

Image generation and source management

Each profile can generate up to 200 images per month. Connected sources sync daily, and the service can retain up to 300 imported LinkedIn posts for calendar reference.

Use Cases

“Founders building a LinkedIn presence”

A founder can provide a website and answer a few short questions to receive an initial set of seven posts, then approve only the drafts that fit their profile.

“Consultants sharing evidence from their work”

Consultants can use their own figures, research, and notes to create posts that explain findings rather than relying on generic social prompts.

“Operators reporting product or business activity”

Connections to supported data sources can supply metrics such as revenue, product usage, website traffic, or software delivery activity for reviewable posts.

“Agencies managing client profiles”

Agency and Consultancy plans support up to 10 LinkedIn profiles, with a separate board, themes, principles, image count, and LinkedIn connection for each profile.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does setup take?

The documentation says setup takes about five minutes. Users sign in with LinkedIn, paste their website URL, answer a few questions, and receive seven posts on the board. Nothing publishes until a plan is running and a post is approved.

Can GoodSocials publish without approval?

No. Posts are shown on the board for review, and only approved posts are scheduled for publication. A final publisher check can return a post to the user instead of publishing it if it appears broken or unsuitable for the feed.

What happens when I revise a post?

A revise comment rewrites the card and keeps the previous version in its history. The comment also updates the relevant brand principle, so later posts can follow the correction.

Which data sources can be connected?

The documentation lists Stripe, GitHub, PostHog, Plausible, and Notion. The connections are described as read-only: they can provide specified metrics or shared Notion excerpts for drafts, and the sources sync once a day.

Does GoodSocials support client profiles?

Yes. The Agency and Consultancy plans can hold up to 10 LinkedIn profiles. Each profile has its own board, themes, principles, image allowance, and connection. The documentation says each client authorizes their own profile rather than sharing a password.
