EdrawMax Online
Freemium
Create diagrams from a blank page or an existing Edraw file, arrange symbols and text, and export the result from a browser-based editor.
What is EdrawMax Online?
EdrawMax Online is a browser-based diagram editor. Sign in with an Edraw account, choose a blank drawing or import an EDDX file, then build the diagram with symbols and text. Save the drawing as a file or to cloud storage, or export it for use in another document.
The Free plan supports limited editing. Basic and Unlimited subscriptions expand editing and export permissions for the Online product; they do not unlock the full desktop edition. Online files are uploaded and processed on Edraw's servers, unlike the locally installed desktop editor.
What can EdrawMax Online do?
Existing-file imports
Open an existing EDDX drawing through Import. Visio, SVG and CAD imports are also listed for Online, with plan limits; Basic includes unlimited Visio and CAD imports.
Employee-data org charts
Use the org-chart import wizard with an employee-data file. Identify the employee-name and reports-to columns, then choose which fields to display in the generated organizational chart.
Cloud saving and file exports
Save a downloadable drawing or choose cloud storage with Save As. Export to image, PDF and other supported formats; Free exports carry a default watermark, while Basic includes watermark-free export and printing.
AI diagram token allowances
Diagram-related AI features use tokens. Free includes 500 tokens, while Basic includes 10,000 per month. The seven-day Basic or Unlimited trial has a separate 1,000-token allowance.
Use Cases
“Explain a process visually”
Arrange symbols and text into a diagram, adjust its formatting, and export a PDF or image to accompany instructions or a report.
“Map a team's reporting structure”
Turn employee names and reporting relationships into an organizational chart through the data-import wizard.
“Continue an existing drawing online”
Import an EDDX file instead of rebuilding it, edit its diagram elements, and save or export the revised drawing.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the main limits of the Free plan?
Free allows three editable cloud files and up to two pages per diagram, with shape and template limits. Image and PDF exports have a default watermark. Basic removes the page and shape limits and includes watermark-free export.
What does the annual Basic plan cost?
Basic costs US$70.80 billed annually, equivalent to US$5.90 per month. That is an annual payment, not monthly billing. It includes Online premium functions and 10,000 AI tokens per month.
How is the seven-day trial different from Free?
Free is a feature-limited plan with a 500-token AI allowance. Basic and Unlimited offer a seven-day trial with 1,000 AI tokens. The trial's allowance is distinct from Basic's 10,000 tokens per month.
Do subscriptions renew automatically, and how do I cancel?
Subscriptions renew and charge for the next term automatically. In Wondershare Account Center, open Plan & Product, choose Manage Subscription, then Cancel Subscription. After membership ends, the account returns to Free with restricted features; existing files remain accessible.
Does an Online subscription include the desktop edition?
Online premium benefits apply to the web product. Cross-platform premium requires a separate arrangement. Online files are uploaded and processed on Edraw's servers; the installed desktop edition processes documents locally.
