Can free files be used commercially?
The free collection offers assets for commercial use with required attribution. Editorial Use Only files remain restricted to editorial purposes, so the free label does not remove file-specific license conditions.
What changes between Standard and Extended image licenses?
Standard covers many personal and commercial uses and has a 500,000 print-copy limit. Extended image and vector licensing removes that limit and permits resale or free-distribution products where the asset plays a major role. Neither permits redistributing the raw stock file or acquiring its copyright.
Can editorial files be used in ads?
No. Editorial Use Only files are not licensed for commercial advertising or product promotion. The license also requires reasonable efforts to credit the contributor and DepositPhotos.
Can a team share an individual account or raw files?
Individual licenses authorize one person to download and use files. Multi-user access needs the appropriate business or enterprise arrangements; an individual account cannot be shared by the whole team. Completed derivative work may be delivered within the license without granting access to the underlying file.
Are audio licenses permanent after a subscription ends?
Standard music and SFX licenses obtained through a subscription last only while that subscription remains active. Standard pack purchases and Extended music licenses are perpetual under their terms. Organizations must use the applicable corporate music licensing.
How do purchase commitments differ?
Image plans include month-to-month subscriptions, 12-month commitments paid monthly or upfront, and prepaid packs. Annual monthly billing remains an annual commitment. Packs have a one-year download period, while downloaded images retain their licensed usage rights subject to the agreement.
