What file types can be uploaded?
Photos can be PNG, JPG, or WebP files up to 10 MB and 52 megapixels. Drawings can be PDF or TIFF files up to 50 MB; multi-page drawing sets are handled one sheet at a time.
Which files are produced?
Line-art conversions produce a standard DXF and a true-scale SVG from the same conversion. The output is intended to open in applications including Fusion 360, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Onshape, FreeCAD, LightBurn, and Inkscape. Logo results use colour SVG.
How is scale set?
During conversion, drag across a known dimension and enter its real-world measurement. Bevell uses that reference to scale the rest of the geometry. If no reference is supplied, the default scale is used and the result may require later adjustment.
What are the main limitations?
Blueprint linework currently returns on one layer, while lettering read as CAD text uses a separate TEXT layer. The output is geometry and text rather than a structured model with rooms, blocks, or constraints. Dense sheets may take longer or time out, and angled photographs are not perspective-corrected.
Are previews and downloads paid?
Previews are free and unlimited, with no account required to convert. Signing up provides three free downloads; additional downloads cost £1.99 each or £5.99 for five, and an Unlimited plan costs £9.99 per month. The downloaded DXF and SVG files do not carry a watermark.
