Measured design inspection
Review a scanned page’s colour palette and roles, type scale, spacing, corners, shadows, and section-by-section layout blueprint.
A Safari extension for Mac that measures website design and prepares it for AI coding agents.
Siteprint is a Safari extension for Mac that measures the visual design of websites and prepares the results for AI-assisted implementation. When you scan a page, it identifies colour roles, typography, spacing, corners, shadows, and the layout of each section, giving you a measured design reference rather than an impression-based description.
The free version supports inspection, token export, overlays, and saved scans in a Library. Pro adds a generated coding prompt, a DESIGN.md export, themes, Compose for combining two saved sites into a new style, and direct scan access for supported coding agents. Siteprint does not build the website itself; the coding agent uses the measured output to create or restyle a page.
Review a scanned page’s colour palette and roles, type scale, spacing, corners, shadows, and section-by-section layout blueprint.
Use the eyedropper, grid overlay, and token export to examine concrete values while inspecting a website.
Pro converts a scan into one coding prompt and a DESIGN.md design-direction file containing reusable visual guidance and measured values.
Keep scans in the Library and use Pro themes to retain design directions for later AI-assisted work.
Pro can combine two saved sites into a new style, allowing one scan to contribute a visual direction while another informs the result.
With Pro, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and other supported agents can read scans directly through the extension’s Coding agents setup.
Inspect a website you want to learn from, then give the generated prompt or DESIGN.md to a coding agent as a measured starting point for a new page. Siteprint does not copy the page or build the result itself.
Use the palette, type scale, spacing, and section blueprint when translating a visual reference into concrete front-end decisions instead of describing the design only in subjective terms.
Save two sites and use Compose to combine their styles into a new direction when a project needs a deliberate mix of visual characteristics.
On Macs with Apple Intelligence, review a scan and ask questions about its design. Apple Intelligence is optional and is not required for measurement.
Siteprint is a Safari extension for Mac and requires macOS 14 or later. It is not currently available for Chrome or iPhone.
Install Siteprint from the Mac App Store, open the app once, enable it in Safari Settings → Extensions, open a regular HTTP or HTTPS website, allow Safari’s read permission, and click the Siteprint toolbar button.
No. Siteprint measures the design and, with Pro, creates a prompt or DESIGN.md export. A coding agent uses that material to build or restyle the page.
No. Siteprint’s measurements work without Apple Intelligence. On a compatible Mac, Apple Intelligence can additionally review scans and answer questions about the design.
Yes, with Pro. Open Generate → Coding agents in the extension and follow the setup for Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex; the agent can then request scans from Siteprint on that Mac.
