Petcubeとは？

Petcube combines connected pet devices with an iOS and Android app for watching and interacting with cats and dogs remotely. Its camera models offer different viewing and interaction features; basic live viewing does not require a Care subscription after buying a camera. Optional Petcube Care adds cloud video history and smart notifications. The wider hardware range includes a GPS tracker and water fountain. Alerts and veterinary chat can support owner decisions, but do not replace in-person care or guarantee that an emergency will be detected.

Live video and audio

Petcube Cam provides 1080p live video, a 110-degree view, digital zoom, night vision, and two-way audio through the app.

Model-specific interaction

Treat dispensing and laser play belong to selected models. Cam has no laser; Play 2 provides laser play, while Bites 2 Lite dispenses treats.

Smart notifications

Care adds sound and motion alerts. Petcube Cam describes barking and meowing recognition and distinguishing pets from people.

Cloud video history

Care Optimal includes three days of history, while Premium includes 90 days. Both offer 30-second clips; Premium adds unlimited downloads and camera coverage.

App access and sharing

View cameras from iOS or Android and grant family or friends camera access through sharing settings. Care also supports browser access to video history and clips.

Other pet devices

The range includes a separately purchased GPS tracker for location, activity monitoring, and escape alerts, plus a water fountain with UV-C purification and four-layer filtering.

Is a monthly subscription required?

Petcube cameras are purchased hardware. Basic live viewing is included without a monthly subscription. Care video history and smart alerts are optional paid features. A 14-day Care trial is included with a camera purchase.

How much do Care plans cost?

On the US/USD monthly plan, Optimal is $9.99 per month and Premium is $16.99 per month. Annual billing is a separate option with different prices. Camera purchases and subscription fees are separate.

What does Petcube Cam need?

A Petcube Cam, the iOS or Android app, and an internet connection via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi are needed. The phone can access the camera remotely over mobile data.

Does every camera toss treats or provide laser play?

No. Those features depend on the model. Cam does not have a laser pointer; Play 2 is the laser-play model. Bites 2 Lite has a remotely controlled treat dispenser.

What does Premium add?

Premium includes 90 days of video history, unlimited video downloads, coverage for unlimited cameras, and online veterinary chat. The app also lets you choose who may access a camera; manage sharing deliberately when recording your home.
