Namely

Что такое Namely?

Namely is a baby name app for couples on iPhone and Android. Its AI generator suggests names based on personal preferences and the names each person likes. Partners explore independently, then connect their accounts to compare favourites and build a shared shortlist for discussion.

The app combines name discovery with pronunciation, meaning and cultural background, helping families assess how a name sounds and what it represents before choosing finalists.

Что умеет Namely?

Personalised name suggestions

Recommendations adapt to liked names, using similarities in sound, style and feeling to suggest further ideas.

Detailed search filters

Narrow suggestions by gender, letters, syllables and origin. Add a surname or sibling name to make the results more relevant to your family.

Independent swiping and partner matching

Each partner can accept or pass on names at their own pace. Connected accounts show each other's liked names, with mutual favourites listed first.

Name meanings and pronunciation

Explore pronunciation, meanings, cultural origins and names with a similar style across more than 60 cultures and collections.

Optional Pro shortlist tools

Namely Pro adds extended discovery, access to the full liked-name list and tools for organising personal finalists.

Families considering names from different origins can browse relevant collections and examine meanings and pronunciation as part of their selection.

Часто задаваемые вопросы

Do I need an account to try Namely?

You can start exploring names before creating an account. An account lets you save progress, connect with a partner and keep your shortlist available across devices.

Can my partner see names before we both like them?

Yes. Once you connect, your partner can see your liked names even before there is a match. Names you both like appear first.

Is Namely free to use?

Namely is free to download and try, with limits on discovery and saved-name features. Optional Pro provides additional access and shortlist tools. Current prices and purchase terms appear in the app before purchase.

Does one Pro subscription cover both partners?

No. Pro applies to each person's own Namely account. Connecting with a partner does not share the subscription; each person can use free features or choose Pro separately.

Can partners connect across iPhone and Android?

Yes. Namely is available through the Apple App Store and Google Play, and partners can connect while using different phone platforms.
