Measure workplace use and forecast space demand with connected occupancy data and AI planning.

O que é VergeSense?

VergeSense provides workplace occupancy intelligence and AI planning through its Meridian platform. Occupancy Intelligence measures and analyzes current space use; Predictive Planning builds on that data to compare future headcount, policy, lease, and layout scenarios. Workplace and real estate teams can combine the two layers when evaluating a portfolio or redesign.

Planning can start from a floor plan using modeled benchmarks. Connect workplace signals or add sensors for more detailed measurement, then use dashboards and the Workplace Assistant to investigate utilization and guide operational decisions.

O que VergeSense pode fazer?

Occupancy analytics

View utilization, person count, capacity, and trends across a portfolio, buildings, floors, and individual spaces according to the connected data.

Natural-language workplace analysis

Ask the Workplace Assistant questions about occupancy data and receive analysis and recommendations without building every report manually.

Demand and scenario planning

Use the Large Spatial Model to forecast demand and compare lease, headcount, policy, layout, and stack-planning options.

Unified workplace signals

Combine supported badge, Wi-Fi, booking, videoconferencing and sensor data; confirm available third-party integrations for the selected service.

Connected operations

Use occupancy insights and integrations or APIs to support room release, cleaning, staffing, and other configured workplace workflows.

Casos de uso

“Evaluate a portfolio change”

Compare measured utilization and modeled demand when considering consolidation, expansion, or a lease decision.

“Plan a workplace redesign”

Identify overloaded or underused space types and compare a proposed layout before making physical changes.

“Align operations with use”

Use observed occupancy patterns to guide team allocations and the scheduling of workplace resources or services.

Perguntas frequentes

How do the two platform layers differ?

Occupancy Intelligence measures current and historical space use. Predictive Planning forecasts demand and compares proposed changes. VergeSense’s existing occupancy intelligence and the newer planning capabilities run together on Meridian.

Do I need to install sensors?

No sensors are required to begin planning from a floor plan using benchmarks and modeled patterns. Actual occupancy measurement comes from connected workplace signals or sensors. Add sensors where the available data does not provide the required spatial detail.

What does a subscription include?

Discuss platform access, planning, dashboards, integrations, API access, sensors and advisory services with VergeSense to confirm the current subscription scope and optional additions.

Can it measure desks claimed by belongings?

Where Infinity Area sensors are installed, the measurement layer can distinguish people present from passive occupancy, such as a laptop or bag holding an otherwise empty desk. A floor-plan forecast or badge entry count alone is not the same measurement.

How is workplace data governed?

Review the current service agreement and privacy documentation with VergeSense to confirm data roles, permitted processing and the distinction between workplace service data and general website data.
