LiDAR and aerial map layers
Use LiDAR to reveal terrain details beneath the tree canopy, UAV aerial imagery, and historical imagery to compare how an area has changed over time.
A whitetail hunting app for mapping, scouting, movement forecasts, and group planning.
Spartan Forge is a whitetail hunting and e-scouting app for hunters planning where and when to hunt. It combines detailed map imagery and terrain layers with localized deer-movement forecasts, allowing users to examine an area, mark plans, and review conditions in one mapping workflow. The prediction model draws on collared-deer data and weather information, but its forecasts are guidance for planning—not a pinpoint location for deer.
Use LiDAR to reveal terrain details beneath the tree canopy, UAV aerial imagery, and historical imagery to compare how an area has changed over time.
The Intel prediction model uses collared-deer data, historical weather, and local conditions to estimate movement range and patterns. Forecasts depend on the selected map location.
Draw and annotate maps, add notes, view configurable topographic contours, assess slope angle and sun exposure, and use Eagle Eye side-profile terrain views.
Access saved maps without cellular service, along with hourly weather forecasts and historical wind data for planning and navigation.
Create a map boundary and invite hunting partners to a Blue Force Tracker team. Pins dropped inside the boundary are automatically shared with the group.
Save preferred map-layer combinations and compare topographic and aerial imagery side by side on the web.
Review aerial imagery, LiDAR, contours, slope, and land-ownership boundaries to understand the terrain and identify areas for further scouting.
Check the localized movement and pattern forecast, then combine it with personal observations and knowledge of the area to select a stand or route.
Use hourly weather and wind information, historical wind data, sun exposure, and terrain views when deciding how to approach a planned hunt.
Set a shared boundary and share pins with invited partners so the group can coordinate marked locations on a common map.
Use offline map access to refer to saved mapping information in areas without cell service.
No. It estimates movement and patterns for the selected map location and is intended to inform a plan alongside the hunter’s knowledge of the area.
Spartan Forge reports that its tests found the model accurate about 66% of the time. This is a reported test result, not a guarantee for an individual hunt.
Movement forecasts classify expected travel as Core Area, Transition Area, or Full Range. Pattern forecasts are Normal, Abnormal, or Very Abnormal, describing how much movement may differ from the usual pattern.
Moon phase is included as an input, but Spartan Forge says it does not know how much weight it has in the prediction.
Yes. Blue Force Tracker lets a user define a boundary, invite partners to a team, and automatically share pins dropped within that boundary.
