## O que é Prosed?

Prosed is a book-assembly product for people who already publish content and want that material turned into a manuscript. The site positions it for creators, newsletter writers, podcasters, video creators, and other non-fiction authors who have ideas spread across posts, episodes, transcripts, and notes.

The workflow starts with your existing material, then uses the Inkwell to structure it into a book, a private portal for chapter-by-chapter revision, and Typo for editorial review. The product emphasizes that most of the final book stays in the creator’s own words, with added bridge text clearly marked in the Source Map.

## O que Prosed pode fazer?

### Ingests existing creator content

Paste a Substack, YouTube channel, or podcast, or provide transcripts and notes. The site says Prosed pulls and transcribes the source material before assembly.

### Assembles a manuscript

The Inkwell organizes your material into a complete manuscript using patterns from more than 150 bestselling nonfiction books. It is presented as an assembly pipeline rather than a chat prompt.

### Chapter-level review portal

Read each chapter in a private portal, leave comments, accept or reject suggestions, and request rewrites before export.

### Editorial review with passage-linked notes

Typo is the built-in editorial reviewer. It checks grammar, voice, flow, and cohesion, and links each note to the exact passage it refers to.

### Source Map transparency

The Source Map color-codes paragraphs so you can see which words came from you and which connective tissue was added.

### Publish-ready exports

Exports are available as print-ready PDF, ePub, or DOCX, with the site also saying the book can be sold on Amazon or directly to readers.

## Casos de uso

### Newsletter-to-book project

Turn a backlog of newsletter issues into a single book by pasting in the source content and letting the system assemble the chapters.

### Podcast or YouTube compilation

Convert a video or podcast catalog into a manuscript by using the site’s transcription-based intake and chapter assembly workflow.

### Notes and draft consolidation

Shape scattered notes, transcripts, and drafts into a coherent non-fiction manuscript with chapter-level review before export.

### Audience product and self-publishing

Create a book from existing expertise when you want a physical or digital product to sell directly to readers or on Amazon.

### Collaborative manuscript revision

Work through a manuscript in a private portal where you can leave comments, request rewrites, and review editorial notes tied to exact passages.

## Perguntas frequentes

### Is Prosed for fiction or non-fiction?

Prosed is designed for non-fiction use cases such as self-help, memoir, business, and essays. The site says fiction is on the roadmap.

### Do I need to already have content?

Yes. The site says you need existing material, such as a Substack, YouTube channel, podcast, transcripts, notes, or files. If there is not enough material to make a book, it says Prosed will tell you before you pay.

### What is the workflow from content to finished book?

You share your material, Prosed assembles it into a manuscript, you review chapters in a private portal, Typo checks voice and cohesion, and then you export the result as PDF, ePub, or DOCX.

### Will the manuscript sound like my own writing?

The site says the book is created from your existing words, with connective tissue added where needed, and that the Source Map shows which words are yours versus added bridge text.

### What output formats does Prosed provide?

You can export a print-ready PDF, ePub, or DOCX, and the site says you can sell the book on Amazon or directly to your audience.
