O que é MapsGPT?

MapsGPT creates interactive maps from a description of places and an area, or from text that mentions locations. Enter your request and an email address for the claim link. The initial result contains location pins, categories, and short descriptions that you can explore and share.

MapsGPT is powered by Proxi. Generate the map through MapsGPT, then claim it into your Proxi workspace if you want to edit pins, categories, details, and styling. Use the initial map to compare a place shortlist and share it with a group.

Is MapsGPT free?

The generation service is free, with a limit of a few maps per hour. Each unclaimed map holds up to 25 places. Proxi's account plans and additional platform features are separate from this allowance.

Can I edit or let friends add places?

Unclaimed maps are view-only. Claim the map through the emailed link to edit it in Proxi and enable add-a-place for group contributions.

Does unlisting make a map private?

No. People with a map's link can open it. Turning off public listing in Proxi hides it from discovery but still permits link access; other access controls depend on the Proxi feature and plan.

Are the suggestions guaranteed to be accurate?

No. The generated place list uses public data and AI suggestions. Hours, location details, and availability may be inaccurate or outdated, so verify them before using the map to plan a visit.
