AI impact and delivery metrics
Track AI code commits, AI review impact, and tool usage by repository alongside cycle time, throughput, quality, and DORA metrics.
Engineering productivity analytics and workflow automation for engineering leaders.
LinearB is an engineering productivity platform for leaders and development teams. It combines software delivery metrics, AI impact analysis, developer feedback, and pull request automation to help organizations understand where engineering work slows down and improve the processes around code delivery.
The platform connects engineering activity with project execution and resource investment. Teams can assess whether AI coding tools improve throughput while monitoring code quality and developer experience. Enterprise capabilities extend to delivery forecasting, resource allocation, and software cost capitalization reporting.

Automatically review code changes for bugs, security risks, performance issues, and specification mismatches before merge.
Apply custom policies for reviewer routing, approvals, and test enforcement. Automations can assign code experts, generate PR descriptions, label missing tests, and trigger extra reviews for selected files.
Capture team sentiment and establish a developer satisfaction baseline, adding qualitative feedback to delivery metrics.
Query engineering data in natural language to investigate bottlenecks, compare performance trends, and generate tailored reports using a library of prebuilt prompts.
Enterprise includes project tracking, Monte Carlo forecasting, capacity planning, resource allocation, investment profiles, and R&D cost capitalization reports.
Engineering leaders can compare adoption with delivery and quality outcomes to assess whether new tools are helping teams complete work.
Platform and DevEx teams can route PRs to knowledgeable reviewers and require additional review in high-risk areas, reducing manual coordination.
Engineering managers can use historical project data, capacity information, and forecasting to evaluate deadlines and the effects of unplanned work.
Engineering and finance stakeholders can examine how time is allocated across projects and produce capitalization reports for financial reporting.
Essentials costs $29 per user per month, billed annually, and is designed for teams with 50+ developers using GitHub Cloud. Enterprise costs $59 per user per month, billed annually, and targets teams with 100+ developers. Essentials offers a 45-day trial without a credit card.
A user assigned to at least one team is billable. Linked platform, Git, project management, and AI tool accounts count once when merged. Users outside teams are not billable.
Listed integrations include GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket Cloud, Azure DevOps Cloud, Jira, Azure Boards, Slack, and Microsoft Teams. GitHub, GitLab, and Jira have cloud and on-premises options. Essentials supports GitHub Cloud only; gitStream workflow automations are not supported for Azure DevOps.
