O que é Duck.ai?

Duck.ai is DuckDuckGo’s web-based chat service for conversations with third-party AI models. Use it to ask questions, compose emails, summarize text, or continue a conversation. Open duck.ai directly or follow up from a traditional DuckDuckGo search result; the DuckDuckGo browser is not required.

A free set of models is available. DuckDuckGo Plus and Pro subscriptions add advanced models and higher Duck.ai usage limits as part of a multi-service bundle.

Select an AI chat model for a prompt. Models can return different responses because they rely on different algorithms and datasets.

Anonymized provider requests

DuckDuckGo removes personal metadata, such as an IP address, before sending a prompt to its model provider. Providers agree not to train on Duck.ai conversations; limited, documented retention exceptions apply.

Image and PDF inputs

Attach an image or PDF when using a model that supports uploads. PDF limits are 15 pages on Free, 35 on Plus, and 50 on Pro; spreadsheets are not supported.

Recent chats on your device

Return to recent conversations saved locally, delete chats individually or with the Fire Button, and pin up to five chats so the Fire Button does not delete them.

What happens to my prompts and chats?

DuckDuckGo removes personal metadata before provider requests and says chats are not used to train models. Provider policies allow limited exceptions, including short-term prompt caching and legally required or malicious-use retention. Recent chats are saved locally by default; feedback conversations you choose to share are stored and reviewed.

What do DuckDuckGo Plus and Pro cost?

Free models are available. Plus costs $9.99 monthly or $99.99 yearly, and Pro costs $19.99 monthly or $199.99 yearly. Both are multi-service plans that add advanced Duck.ai models; Pro also offers higher reasoning and 2x Plus usage limits.

Can I upload a spreadsheet or any PDF?
