O que é AI Dungeon?

AI Dungeon is an interactive fiction game in which your input directs the adventure and AI generates the next part of the story. Start from a community scenario or create your own premise, then describe what your character does, says or narrates. Continue can move the story forward without a new player action.

You retain control over the text through Retry and Edit, and can guide the setting with plot information and Story Cards. The Free tier supports basic play; paid memberships add model options, larger context and Credits for images or additional context. The experience is generated fiction, with player editing available when a response goes off course.

Action-based storytelling

Use Do for an action, Say for dialogue or Story for your own narration, then let the AI respond. Continue produces the next output without a new action.

Retry and edit controls

Generate another version of the latest output, compare retries or directly edit earlier inputs and AI text to steer the adventure.

Custom and community scenarios

Start with a community-made adventure or build your own story premise instead of following a fixed prewritten plot.

Story guidance

Add AI Instructions, Plot Essentials, an Author's Note or Story Cards in the adventure settings. Context limits determine how much of that material reaches the model.

Adventure images

Use See mode to prompt an image within the adventure. The image-generator settings show available models and their Credit cost.

Can I keep playing for free?

Yes. Wanderer is the Free tier, and a free account includes the game's basic features. Paid plans add model choices, context, memory capacity and Credits; Free does not mean every premium model or context setting is included.

What do the standard memberships cost?

Monthly USD tiers are Journey $14.99, Legend $29.99, Mythic $49.99 and Ultimate $99.99. Six- and twelve-month billing options are separate. Subscriptions renew automatically; Journey and Legend offer a one-week trial with purchase. Cancel a trial before it ends to avoid being charged.

Does every story turn spend Credits?

The base context included for a story generator can be used without extra Credits. Credits pay for images or additional context on certain models. Retry is also text generation, so it can spend Credits when your settings use them. Running out of Credits does not remove the gameplay included in your tier.

Why can the AI lose details or get the story wrong?

The model has a limited context window. Older story text or Story Cards may be trimmed to fit. Supply important details through plot settings, inspect the output and edit or retry it when needed; larger context does not guarantee a consistent response.

Where can I play and manage membership?

Use the web experience or supported mobile apps. Membership and Credits follow the same signed-in account. Google Play and Apple subscriptions are managed through those stores; web purchases can be managed at play.aidungeon.com/pricing.
