Identity verification
Compare configured identity scans with a test-taker baseline, with biometric checks at entry and continued identity monitoring.
Verify test takers, monitor remote exams, and review AI-assisted incident reports in your assessment workflow.
Proctortrack is Verificient’s remote exam proctoring software for institutions and assessment providers. It combines identity checks, AI-assisted monitoring, configurable browser controls, and automated, live, or hybrid oversight. In the LMS workflow, a student selects a Proctortrack-enabled exam, launches the application, completes the required identity checks, and takes the test.
Exam monitoring produces flagged, time-stamped events and reports for instructor or proctor review. AI alerts identify possible policy violations; human reviewers make the final determination. Institutions select the proctoring level, monitoring settings, and applicable data-handling terms.

No. The privacy policy states that AI helps flag potential policy violations. Verificient staff or the sponsoring institution’s human reviewers assess alerts and make final determinations.
Institutions request customized pricing based on their assessment program, student volume, monitoring level, and optional add-ons. A public SaaS MSRP table also lists selected services by test volume and attempt; automated proctoring with live review can be billed per attempt per hour. Some institutions require test takers to pay proctoring fees directly.
Data depends on the institution's settings and may include identity documents, biometrics, audio/video, screen captures, and room scans. Default retention is up to 180 days after an exam for exam data and up to one year from creation for identity profiles. The institution's custom retention terms take precedence; exported institutional copies and required minimal billing or legal records can remain separately.
Exam information is provided to the sponsoring institution. The privacy policy also describes cloud processing and defined legal disclosures. Requests to access, change, or delete data generally go to the institution's privacy office, which controls the assessment data.
