Consensusとは？

Consensus is an AI research tool for searching scientific literature and synthesizing findings from retrieved papers. Start with a research question, inspect the ranked paper list, and use Pro or Deep to produce a cited analysis. It suits literature exploration and comparison of studies rather than open-ended general conversation.

The workflow keeps the underlying research within reach: citations lead back to papers, and available full text can inform analysis beyond the abstract. AI responses can still contain mistakes, so reading the relevant studies remains part of evaluating an answer.

What can I use for free?

The Free plan includes unlimited paper searches, 10 Pro messages and 3 Deep reviews per month. Unlimited paper search means a ranked paper list; it does not mean unlimited AI summaries or Deep reviews.

How do Pro and Deep plans differ?

Pro costs $20 monthly or $144 per year billed annually ($12 per month equivalent), with unlimited Pro messages and 15 Deep reviews per month. Deep costs $65 monthly or $540 per year billed annually ($45 per month equivalent), with unlimited Pro messages and 200 Deep reviews per month.

Does analysis give me access to every full paper?

No. Full-text availability varies by paper; otherwise Consensus uses the abstract and indexed metadata. It may analyze a paywalled article without granting you the right to view or download it. Reading access depends on your personal or institutional subscription.

Can I treat the cited answer as verified evidence?

Citations help you trace an answer to papers, but AI responses can contain mistakes. Inspect the cited studies and their context before relying on a synthesis. A full-text checkmark indicates what was analyzed, not a guarantee that the conclusion is correct.

Does Medical mode provide medical advice?

No. It focuses the search on medical research and clinical guidelines. Consensus's terms say its information is not intended for individual diagnosis, evaluation or treatment.
