appdesigns is a browser-based editor for turning app screenshots into store listing assets. It supports App Store sets for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, plus Google Play screenshots using store-sized canvases and Android device frames.
The workflow is direct: upload one screenshot per screen, select a canvas and device frame, customize the background and headline, then export. App Store exports use the selected App Store Connect dimension, while the Google Play workflow supports a 1080 × 1920 upload canvas and can leave the screenshot unframed.
The editor is free to use without an account, with unlimited exports and no watermark. A free account adds cloud save, cross-device project access and gallery submission. The optional Pro plan adds AI-assisted creation, caption ideas, localized sets, custom fonts and unlimited uploads to the asset library.

Headlines, templates and backgrounds
Add headlines using the editor’s available font choices, select flat or gradient backgrounds, use an image background, and start from a template or gallery set before replacing the example screens.
Flattened store-ready exports
Export sets at the selected canvas size as flattened images without transparency. The App Store workflow describes PNG exports without an alpha channel, while Google Play accepts JPEG or 24-bit PNG without an alpha channel.
Optional AI and brand assets
Pro adds AI Mode for a generated set with a headline for each screen, a color palette and type pairing; it also provides caption ideas, translated projects, custom font uploads and unlimited asset-library uploads.
MCP workflow for coding agents
An MCP server lets compatible coding agents capture app screens, upload them and open an editable App Store or Google Play set in the browser. The connection uses the published MCP endpoint and does not require an API key.

Yes. The free editor allows creation and downloading without an account, and free use includes the editor, device frames, canvas sizes, templates, unlimited exports and no watermark. An account is needed for cloud saving, cross-device projects, gallery submission and Pro subscription management.
What does the editor export?
Exports are rendered at the selected canvas size as flattened images. The App Store workflow specifies PNG exports without an alpha channel; the Google Play guidance accepts JPEG or 24-bit PNG without an alpha channel. Store content and submission rules still apply to the finished images.
What Google Play size should I use?
The Google Play page identifies 1080 × 1920 as the upload canvas: it meets the stated 1080-pixel minimum for featuring and the two-to-one maximum aspect ratio. The taller 1080 × 2400 and 1440 × 3120 screen shapes are intended for framed artwork outside the Play upload.
Does Google Play require a phone frame?
No. The product’s Google Play guidance says Google recommends avoiding device imagery in store screenshots, so the frame can be turned off and the screenshot can fill the canvas. Pixel, Galaxy and generic frames remain available for websites, ads and press materials.
How does the MCP workflow handle screenshots?
The connected agent uploads screenshots to a private staging area. When a set is saved, the files are copied into the user’s private project and the staged files are deleted; unsaved sets are deleted after 72 hours at the latest. The MCP connection itself requires no API key or account, but saving the set to a library requires an account.
